Day 1 – Arrival & Explore the Hotel

Arrive and be greeted by our friendly team at the Woodlands. Once you’ve checked in and settled your bags, head over to the Treehouse for a tasty bite to eat and a delicious ice cream to kick off your family break.

There’s plenty of fun waiting right here on site. Visit our petting farm and say hello to our friendly alpacas, then let the little ones set off on an adventure with our scavenger hunt and magical fairy trails.

After a day of exploring, gather the family for dinner at Timmy Macs, the perfect way to relax, reconnect, and enjoy some quality time together.

Day 2 – Family Adventure at Bunratty Castle & Folk Park

Start the day with a delicious breakfast at Timmy Macs. Our buffet offers something to suit every taste, giving everyone the perfect start before heading off on today’s adventure.

Just a 15-minute drive from the hotel, Bunratty Castle & Folk Park is a must-visit for families. Step inside the beautifully restored 15th-century castle and discover its fascinating history before exploring the charming Folk Park. Little adventurers will love meeting the Irish wolfhounds, visiting the pet farm, wandering the fairy trail, and climbing through the Viking playground. With interactive exhibits, wide open spaces, and plenty to discover, it’s a fantastic day out for all ages.

After your adventure, return to the hotel and enjoy delicious pizzas at the Treehouse, served in our cosy family cabins, the perfect way to round off an action packed day.

Day 3 – A Relaxed Morning

Ease into your final day with breakfast in bed or another delicious breakfast at Timmy Macs before enjoying one last splash in the hotel’s swimming pool.

Before heading home, take a trip to the picturesque village of Adare, just a 5-minute drive from the hotel. Stroll past its famous thatched cottages, browse the charming boutiques, and enjoy a peaceful walk along the River Maigue. It’s the perfect way to soak up one last taste of County Limerick before your journey home.
