Family breaks in Ireland don’t get much better than at Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel & Revas Spa.

Not only do we offer comfortable family rooms, the Woodlands Mini Pet Farm and a magical Fairy Trail, but we also offer a host of activities at our highly popular Woody’s Fun Club. Catering for children aged four to 12 years old, Woody’s Fun Club is based in a dedicated playroom and offers a wide range of activities to include painting, colouring, videos, toys, board games, jigsaws and lots more. Our Woody’s Fun Club friends can also visit Mary’s Organic Garden and meet our gardener, hunt for treasure around our grounds, feed the animals in our mini pet farm, and play outdoor games on our outdoor pitch.

Fun School-holiday Activities

Woody’s kids camp

Woodys Fun Club camps take place during the school holidays.

Catering for all children aged between 4 and 12 years, we offer a broad range of activities such as treasure hunts, pool games, feeding the animals in the mini pet farm, fairy trail discovery, organic garden visit, arts and crafts, and outdoor games. The camp is open to children from the local area as well as guests.

Weekly rates include a maximum of five sessions. Daily rates are available on request.

Weekly Rates:

Time: 11:00am – 3:00pm(4 hours), Monday – Friday
Members: €30 Per Day | €110 Per Week
Non-members: €40 Per Day | €130 Per Week
Lunch additional €7 per day

Children of hotel guests are welcome to attend the Kids Camp free of charge, however, places must be pre-booked in advance of arrival.

Birthday parties

Woodys Fun Club hosts children’s birthday parties on Saturdays and Sundays. For children aged 6 and above. Parties last for two hours and the children are entertained with a range of activities to choose from including swimming pool, pizza making, afternoon tea party, arts and crafts, outdoor games, nail art and bracelet making, party games, treasure hunt and a scavenger hunt, agreed in advance based on the age profile and interests of the group and the time of year.

Please note: Due to the limited number of spaces within the Fun club places cannot be guaranteed and a booking confirmation will be sent once their space is secured. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the 8.30 – 9.30pm family session. Children under 4 years are not permitted to use the Fun Club service even with parental supervision, any child found to be under 4 years will be declined entry and returned to their parent/guardian. From time to time the Fun club activities may need to be altered due to unforeseen circumstances.
