MARY’S ORGANIC GARDEN
THE ESSENCE OF FARM TO FORK
Mary’s Organic Garden holds a special place in our hearts. Located within the hotel grounds, and forming part of the Woodlands Walking Trail, Mary’s Organic Garden supplies our kitchen with many of the seasonal ingredients founds on our menus. It also provides our sister restaurant Fieldings of Adare with ingredients and Dick’s Bar with the herbs, edible flowers and other garnishes they use for cocktails and other drinks.
Mary’s Organic Garden was developed by Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel & Revas Spa proprietor Mary Fitzgerald in memory of her late husband, Dick (RIP).
Mary and Dick started out married life farming the land on which the resort now sits. And the resort is now a happy marriage of hospitality and organic farming, each supporting the other.
Diners are welcome to visit Mary’s Organic Garden and chat to the gardeners tending the seasonal produce being grown exclusively for the hotel. Gardening tips are always welcome and freely offered!
