Mary and Dick are parents of four, and grandparents of three. Today, the business remains very much a family affair - with sons David working as General Manager of this luxury Limerick hotel, and Conor as Development Manager for the Fitzgerald Group. Youngest son Richard, is also in the food business with his Irish Food Store & Deli, LOAF located on 57 Roches Street Limerick. Daughter Elaina, works as Sales Director, and is married to Myles, propreitor of Kane Fitz Interiors, which has recently relocated from Ennis to the grounds of this luxury hotel in Limerick Ireland.

Dick Fitzgerald could almost be regarded as PR man for the hotel, as he can usually be found behind the bar, or outside it, talking to regular local customers from Adare and guests alike, discussing GAA, rugby and horses. He might even have a tip or two to pass on! Dick provides an important, hands on service and he has great knowledge of the local area and its amenities.
