- Through our combined heat and power plant and our solar panels we are generating 65% of our own electricity daily.
- 100% 0f our lighting is provided by LED energy efficient bulbs.
- Since 2012 we have reduced our energy usage by 45%.
- Our State of the art laundry handles the majority of our linen which has greatly reduced transportation emissions.
- 100% of the water used in our hotel comes from our own spring on the hotel grounds.
- 100% of single use toiletries have been eliminated from our hotel bedrooms.
- We use compostable packaging in the The Treehouse
- The Treehouse is a 100% waste free zone. Nothing purchased there goes to landfill.
- We have chilled water stations.
- We have 6 EV Chargers for electric vehicles
- Food is provided for the kitchens from our own Organic Farm
- Paper usage within the hotel is continually monitored.
- Our purchasing team are committed to sourcing food sustainably.
- We are registered with NIHBS and are a dedicated conservation area for honey bees
